When we opened the newly remodeled second floor of our building in 2002, our goal was to provide the Lafayette community with a premiere entertainment venue. To accomplish that goal, we’ve brought a fantastic range of local, national and international touring musicians to perform on our stage; we annually host one of the state’s finest charity beer events; and we’ve catered legendary private parties- from class reunions to fundraisers to wedding receptions. Check out a show and see why our second floor has been voted Lafayette’s “Best Live Music Venue” in 2006 & 2007 in the Journal and Courier’s annual Bragging Rights poll. You won’t be disappointed!
Looking to hold a holiday party, class reunion, club function or group meeting? LBC’s 2nd Floor is the perfect venue for all your party plans. We can fill the needs of groups from 25 to 100, or more. We offer a variety of options for food and beverage service and can accommodate most budgets. In addition to recently added Cheesy Potato Munchers, piping hot Soft Pretzels, and Breadsticks , we now offer a selection of mouth-watering hot sandwiches. Stop in for a Classic Stromboli, Beer-B-Que Sub or one of our other great signature sandwiches! And Of course, we're still putting out the tastiest pies in town.
With the help of a grant from the City of Lafayette, we completed renovations on the second story of our historic downtown building in May of 2002. The project successfully focused on restoring much of the historic character of the building. Original flooring, ceiling joists and a beautiful hardwood staircase were all restored. Local Trompe L'oiel artist Randee Rankin added a wonderful brewery-themed mural to complete the renovation and add a warm, comfortable character to the open and smoke-free setting.
TVs, pool tables, foosball and darts provide plenty of amusement while our Second Floor stage plays host to some of the area's finest live entertainment:- from accomplished local musicians and comics to national and international recording artists. We've also outfitted the second floor with it's own kitchen offering a fantastic line-up of hot appetizers, pizzas, and signature sandwiches. And the most recent addition to our second floor facility includes a limited selection of premium distilled spirits to complement our roster of award-winning ales.
